VIRTUAL PROGRAM music with a Latin beat
A virtual performance with multi-camera live streaming. This interactive live video includes prerecorded segments, slides, and text (including lyrics) overlying the video. During this highly engaging live stream, we use green screen effects to help tell the story. The green screen allows us to replace our real background with stills and prerecorded video, so the background becomes part of our topic and helps the audience stay engaged.

The video conferencing platforms that we use are Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Meet. There is a Question & Answer segment at the end of the program. This program is provided by two members of Surcari and a “behind the scenes” tech person. Click here to watch promo video!
LIVE PROGRAM music with a Latin beat
This highly interactive program is based on the musical styles and traditions of the Andes, the Spanish Caribbean, South America, Spain, and Mexico. Surcari's interactive performances engage audiences of all ages as they sing, clap, dance, and play hand percussion instruments while learning about different Spanish-speaking cultures. A multicultural experience not to be missed, Surcari's musical presentations take audience participation to a new level of interaction!

Surcari provides the sound system and the extensive collection of hand percussion instruments and ethnic hats for student volunteers. Hats and instruments are sanitized after each use. This program is provided by all three members of Surcari.
